2k Fitness was developed by Kristin Kullberg to empower women to ditch body standards and redefine the way they perceive fitness. She is tired of fad diets and gimmicks, frustrated with the diet industry for promoting unrealistic expectations, and is fed up with the societal standards telling women who to be and what to look like. She aims to bring health back in to fitness and make fitness attainable for every body.
Body insecurity is rampant, but it doesn't have to be. As a society we are under the impression that we need to shrink our body in order to be accepted. So we keep searching for the perfect diet or exercise program while losing sight of the ultimate goal of fitness: improved health and well-being. After struggling with her own battle of disordered eating and poor body image, Kristin set out to redefine the way females viewed themselves, through fitness.
2k Fitness is a unique brand of fitness that is striving to make a difference. It's time to make fitness healthy again. It's time to be realistic with the way we eat and exercise, and start nurturing our body rather than punishing it. It's time to break free from standards and realize that health and fitness looks different on every body.
Fitness can be so misinformed and deceiving these days, so 2k Fitness wants to cut through the noise and provide you with real, honest information so that you can be healthy and confident.
Kristin is a NESTA Certified Personal Trainer and Metabolic Training Specialist, who also holds a B.S. in Nutrition Science from The Ohio State University. She is powered by movement and loves all kinds of fitness. Her favorite ways to train are strength training and HIIT, but she also enjoys hitting the trails, whether that be with a snowboard, mountain bike, or on foot.
